About AllSci.org

July 2008

AllSci.org provides free, concise, readable summaries of peer reviewed clinical research. Our mission is to empower individuals with little or no scientific training to become informed consumers of clinical research.

To that end, we attempt to make fully up-to-date and non-promotional clinical information available and accessible to anyone and everyone who wants it. We hope to enable the Internet public to understand and choose between the treatments, techniques, medications, and supplements that are available based on the latest and most rigorous clinical research rather than having to rely upon advertisements and haphazardly assembled marketing materials. Of course, we recommend consulting a qualified, licensed health professional for help integrating any of this information into your own lifestyle or treatment plan.

The research summaries on this site are written by volunteers with training in the clinical and research sciences. If you have undergraduate or graduate level training in the interpretation of research data, retain access to newly released journals in your field of interest, and would like to contribute your time and expertise to this project, please contact editor@allsci.org to join our team.

If you have no clinical or scientific training but would like to support our project, the best thing you can do to support this project is link to our articles from your own web sites or blogs, add our articles to sites like Digg and Propeller, and bookmark us on sites like de.licio.us. Thanks for your support.

Finally if you would like to help us to cover the costs of hosting, you may contribute financially.
